Job Description:

UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Urgent Care team in providing top-quality care in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care in urgent, non-life-threatening situations. This role requires excellent clinical skills, the ability to manage multiple patient cases, and the agility to respond to rapid changes in patient conditions. As a UCHealth RN, you will work in a supportive and resource-rich environment with a commitment to your professional growth and development. Assess, triage, and treat patients in an urgent care setting while managing their care efficiently. Monitor patient conditions and provide updates to care plans as necessary. Administer medications, conduct diagnostic tests, and interpret results to aid in diagnosis and treatment. Educate patients and their families on treatment and care plans, including follow-up and preventive measures. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Respond to emergent situations effectively, maintaining patient safety at all times. Strong clinical skills in a healthcare setting Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently under pressure Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of Colorado BLS Certification required, ACLS preferred PALS Certification preferred for those dealing with pediatric patients
