UCHealth is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) at our advanced healthcare facilities in Colorado. As part of a dynamic nursing team, you will be integral in providing exceptional care to patients with critical surgical conditions. Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and treatments. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families on post-surgical care and health management. Participate in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines. Proven ability to provide critical care and make timely decisions under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Proficiency in using healthcare software and electronic health records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado. BLS Certification. ACLS Certification preferred.
