Job Description:

UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Regional Float Pool focusing on mother and baby care during night shifts. This challenging yet rewarding role plays a crucial part in providing the highest quality of care to new mothers and their babies across various UCHealth facilities. Candidates will possess strong clinical and interpersonal skills, adapt rapidly to new environments, and uphold the highest standards of nursing practice in line with UCHealth's commitment to excellence. Provide direct nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns in various UCHealth hospitals. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team. Administer medications and monitor patient's vital signs. Educate and support mothers with breastfeeding, infant care, and recovery. Maintain flexibility to rotate among different units/hospitals as needed. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards. Strong clinical skills in postpartum and neonatal care High adaptability to different hospital settings and teams Excellent patient care and communication skills Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
