Job Description:

Looking for motivated individuals to join our NOC team. This role is responsible for monitoring, repairing and maintaining our network. The NOC technicians will be inquisitive information seekers who are focused on restoring services during an outage, but also determining the root cause and identifying ways to improve our services. On any given day, the NOC will be working anything from a single subscriber issue with a field tech on site, to a national outage, to a single cell site outage. Each day will bring new challenges with lots of opportunities for growth and improvement. The NOC technicians will work with a sense of urgency using a "whatever it takes" mindset to restore service to our customers.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:--- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize between network monitoring, outage handling, phone calls, ticket updates and emails.--- Established LAN troubleshooting skills and familiarity with maintaining and troubleshooting home/customer networks. --- Takes ownership of issues to resolution. Takes ownership of training needs and actively seeks training opportunities. --- Self-starter, always looking to improve their environment and provide superior team support.--- Troubleshooting issues from physical connectivity to connectivity across the internet over multiple technologies.--- Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize efficiently in a fast paced environment--- Proficient writing and communication skills appropriate for customer facing notifications to technical assessments for engineering.--- Ability to work independently with vendors to resolve issues.--- Ability to interpret technical specifications in order to troubleshoot the network.--- Ability to work off hours and perform on call duties, overnights and weekends a possibility.--- Basic technical understanding of networking technologies (firewall, VPN, PBX, DIA, IMS, Ethernet, RF, CDMA, UMTS, GSM, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, Microwave) QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:--- 1-2 years of related NOC experience preferred but not required.--- Proficiency with using Google Chrome, Firefox, or MS Edge and can type at least 40 WPM.--- Experience in a wireless network a plus--- Network +, JNCIA, CCNA a plus--- Test and Turn Up Experience a plus--- Metasolv/Inventory Management software exp. a plus--- ServiceNow/Remedy ticketing experience a plus This is an in-office hybrid position
