More information about HSS a Tarian company can be found at hss-us.com.*The schedule of paid holidays may vary by location.Compensation: $20.00 with signing bonus $600.00 Responsibilities Responsibilities Our healthcare Security Officers are responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors -- and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property. Our Security Officers also provide supervision for at-risk patients in the hospital environment. QualificationsRequired Qualifications of the Security Officer:

• Completed High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
• Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet HSS a Tarian company' driving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles)Desired Qualification of the Security Officer:
  • Previous work experience with the public in a service settingArmed (Handgun) Qualifications:
    • At least 21 years of age
    • Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a weapon
    • Ability to pass the initial and semi-annual HSS a Tarian compnay approved firearms training course to demonstrate proficiency in use of firearm
    • Ability to participate and meet the requirements of additional firearms training at the discretion of the firearms instructor
    • Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of the HSS a Tarian company Firearms policiesTASER Qualifications:
      • Ability to meet qualification standards when initially placed in a TASER position and annually thereafter
      • Ability to obtain and maintain any applicable local or state license or permit to carry a TASER
      • Ability to participate in and pass additional TASER training at the discretion of the TASER instructorand/or HSS a Tarian company
