Job Description:

Blazerworks is currently seeking both part-time and full-time Physical Therapists (PT) to join our team in Castle Rock, CO for the remainder of the current school year (2022-23) and the upcoming school year (2023-24). Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine student needs and develop appropriate treatment plans to improve their physical abilities
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support students in achieving their educational and functional goals
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and support student progress towards academic and social-emotional goals
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities as required by the school district
• Keep accurate records and documentation of services provided and maintain confidentiality of student information Qualifications:
  • Active CO licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and other professionals
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions The successful candidate will need to hold a Special Service Provider Endorsement through the Colorado Department of Education. This is a part-time (0.5 FTE) and full-time (1 FTE) position, starting immediately and continuing through the end of the 2023-24 school year. The PT will be responsible for serving students aged 3-21 and will be needed to fill in gaps where students have not had services or enough services.
