Responsibilities:
Essential FunctionsPerforms opening and closing clinic dutiesGreets patients, checks in for appointments and verifies insuranceScans documents into electronic health recordMaintains tidiness of waiting area and reception counter throughout the dayChecks schedules for added, canceled and no-show appointments throughout the daySchedules follow up appointments as neededResponds to designated tasks in the electronic health recordOrders clinic office suppliesSells and tracks cosmetic productsDistributes mailPrepares for next day scheduled appointments

Qualifications:
EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent is requiredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities1-2 years of recent medical office experience in a similar capacity is preferred. Previous customer service/relations training is preferred. Must be able to understand and spell Dermatologic medical terms and prescriptions. Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office. Must possess organizational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors. Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team.Pay: $17-19/hr + DOE
