Range: $20.00 per hour as Guest Service Agent and $19.00 plus tips

role was made for you. We’re looking for a dynamic Guest Service
Agent Bartender who loves people, multitasks like a pro, and brings
energy to every interaction — whether checking in a traveler after
a long flight or serving up a signature drink to help them unwind.
This is not your typical desk job. And it’s not just a bar job
either. It’s the best of both worlds. Job Summary: The Guest
Service Agent is responsible for ensuring smooth check-in and
check-out procedures, maintaining accurate guest records, and
providing outstanding guest services. This role supports the
hotel’s front office operations and handles various guest
inquiries, payments, and reservations to ensure a high level of
guest satisfaction. Essential Functions and Duties : Greet,
register, and assign rooms to guests upon their arrival. Verify
guest credit and establish payment methods for accommodation. Keep
accurate records of room availability and guest accounts using
property management systems. Compute bills, collect payments, and
make change for guests. Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, such as
balancing cash accounts. Issue room keys and provide necessary
instructions to bell attendants. Review accounts and charges with
guests during the check-out process. Post charges for rooms, food,
beverages, and services to ledgers manually or via computer
systems. Transmit and receive guest messages using telephones or
switchboards. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to
address guest-reported issues. Make and confirm reservations for
guests. Answer inquiries about hotel services, nearby dining,
shopping, and entertainment options. Reasonable accommodations may

Skills: Previous experience in a hotel front desk or guest service
role preferred. Strong customer service and communication skills to
interact effectively with guests and staff. Proficiency in using
property management systems and basic office software (e.g., Word,
Excel). Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic
bookkeeping tasks. Excellent problem-solving abilities to resolve
guest issues efficiently. Strong organizational skills with
attention to detail in managing guest reservations and records.
Ability to work independently and follow established hotel policies
and procedures. Work Environment : Primarily indoor work within the
hotel’s front desk and lobby areas. Requires standing and walking
for long periods throughout the shift. Must be able to lift and
carry up to 10 lbs. occasionally (e.g., ledgers, small office
supplies). Flexible schedule , including availability for evening,
weekend, and holiday shifts. Frequent use of a computer and

for mixing, pouring, and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic
beverages as required by the outlet or banquet event order. This
role ensures guest satisfaction while adhering to safety and legal
guidelines for beverage service. Essential Functions and Duties :
Mix, pour, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
according to recipes and guest preferences. Set up and stock the
bar with necessary beverages, glassware, and supplies before each
shift or event. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar
area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Monitor
guest consumption of alcohol and follow established guidelines for
responsible beverage service. Interact with guests in a friendly
and professional manner, providing prompt and courteous service.
Process guest payments accurately using point-of-sale (POS)
systems. Restock bar supplies and beverages as needed throughout
the shift. Ensure proper handling of cash and credit transactions,
following hotel or outlet procedures. Assist with inventory
management and report any shortages or discrepancies to the Bar
Manager. Follow opening and closing procedures, including cleaning
bar equipment and securing stock. Handle guest inquiries or
complaints promptly, ensuring a positive guest experience.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills: Previous experience as
a bartender or in a food and beverage role is preferred. Knowledge
of drink mixing, garnishing, and serving techniques. Ability to
handle cash and process payments accurately using POS systems.
Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work
in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Knowledge of
alcohol safety regulations, with TIPS certification (or must be
obtained within 30 days of hire). Work Environment : Primarily an
indoor environment, with frequent standing and walking required
during shifts. Exposure to bar equipment and cleaning chemicals.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Flexibility to work
