Psychiatrist Board Certified-Inpatient Acute Care Salary Range:
$216,237 - $324,355 annually based on relevant years of experience
Location: Larimer county, Colorado Status: 40 hours per week The
salary range for this position is SummitStone’s good faith belief
and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for

community that it serves. Role Overview: As a psychiatrist in our
facility, you would provide patient care, physician oversight and
expertise, and continuity for our clients and teams. Longview
opened in December 2023 as a collaboration between Larimer County
and SummitStone - we provide comprehensive, collaborative, and
multidisciplinary care for behavioral health and substance use. In
addition to the existing Crisis Walk-In Services, Crisis
Stabilization Unit (16 adult beds) and Withdrawal Management Unit
(16 adult beds), we are opening an Adolescent Unit (8 beds for
adolescents aged 12-17) in the Summer 2025. The ideal candidate
would be willing to see both adult and adolescent clients. This
role involves conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations,
developing individualized treatment plans, and providing
psychotherapy or medication management to help patients cope with
issues such as psychosis, mania, suicidal ideation, depression,
anxiety, ADHD, trauma, substance use, eating disorders, and
behavioral problems. The Psychiatrist will work closely with
patients, their families, our advanced practice providers, and an
interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and positive
outcomes for each patient. This role includes teaching and training
students and residents as well as collaborating with others care
givers on the medical and therapy teams. Compassion, strong
communication skills, and a deep understanding of behavioral health
are key to success in this role. Required: Education and
Experience: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic
Medicine (DO) from an accredited university with additional
post-graduate training in psychiatry. More than two years of
post-residency experience in treating and servicing persons with
substance use and mental health needs preferred but not required.
New graduates are welcome to apply. Fellowship training in child
and adolescent psychiatry is welcomed but not required.
Understanding and commitment to Medication Assisted Treatment and
harm reduction principles required. Strong understanding of
substance use treatment and knowledge of withdrawal management
processes preferred. Licenses and Certifications: DEA Certification
is required. License to practice psychiatry in the state of
Colorado required. Valid Colorado driver’s license or ability to
obtain within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record. Board
certified or eligible with plans for certification. Preferred
Qualification: Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred SummitStone will
