Practical Nurse (LPN) position is available in a school setting
located in South River, NJ. This role involves providing dedicated
one-on-one nursing care to a kindergarten student with significant
medical needs. The position runs from ASAP through June 23, 2026,
and follows school hours from 8:25 a.m. to 3:25 p.m., with spring
break observed from April 3-10. Responsibilities include closely
monitoring the student's health throughout the school day,
assisting with feeding to ensure safe chewing and swallowing, and
managing medical tasks such as allergy care, temperature checks,
and glucose level monitoring. The LPN will play a crucial role in
supporting the students well-being and ensuring a safe learning
environment. Key Qualifications: Current NJ LPN
licensure/certification is required. Experience in school nursing
or pediatric care preferred. Ability to provide attentive,
compassionate care and accurately monitor medical conditions.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with
educators and family. Location: South River, NJ Position Type: Full
Time, Contract (5 days per week) Hours: 8:25 a.m. 3:25 p.m.
