Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare invites applications for the position
of Charge Nurse in Cardiac Neuro Intermediate Care. This vital role
is based in our forward-thinking healthcare system in Utah, known
for pioneering advanced medical practices and delivering
compassionate care. The Charge Nurse will lead a dedicated team in
the Cardiac Neuro Intermediate Care Unit, providing critical care
and support to patients with cardiac and neurological conditions.
This position requires clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a
passion for patient-centered care. Oversee the nursing care for
cardiac and neuro patients in the intermediate unit. Manage and
direct the activities of nursing staff and ensure compliance with
all policies and regulations. Coordinate with physicians and other
healthcare professionals to create effective, patient-specific care
plans. Monitor patient condition, assess needs, and advocate for
patient care. Lead training sessions and onboarding for new nurses
and staff. Ensure the maintenance of a safe, clean, and secure
environment for patients and staff. Strong leadership and
organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Proficient in handling cardiac and neurological emergencies
Adept at using medical software for patient care management Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Utah Advanced Cardiac
Life Support (ACLS) certification Neuroscience Nursing
Certification (CNRN) preferred
