Job Description:
UCHealth, a pioneer in patient-centered care across Colorado, is
seeking an Occupational Therapist Fellow specializing in Hand
Therapy. This role offers an invaluable learning experience in a
stimulating environment where patient care is at the forefront. The
successful candidate will be involved in the assessment, planning,
and implementation of therapy programs for patients with hand,
wrist, and arm injuries. Working under the supervision of
experienced therapists, this fellowship provides an opportunity to
gain specialized skills in a highly supportive and state-of-the-art
setting. Evaluate and assess patient hand and upper limb conditions
based on physician referrals. Develop and administer tailored
therapy programs to aid patient recovery and enhance functionality.
Document patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure
comprehensive patient care. Participate in professional development
sessions and contribute to team meetings. Strong analytical and
decision-making skills. Proficiency in using therapy equipment and
tools. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to
work both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of current
therapy practices and procedures. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must be a licensed
Occupational Therapist or eligible for licensing in the state of
Colorado. Certification in hand therapy (CHT) preferred or
willingness to pursue.
