UCHealth is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist I to join our diverse team of healthcare professionals in our Colorado-based facilities. This role plays a pivotal part in advancing our mission to deliver personalized, patient-centered care across our network of hospitals and outpatient facilities. As an Occupational Therapist I, you will be tasked with delivering effective therapy services designed to restore, enhance, and increase functionality. This position requires a deep understanding of therapeutic techniques and the ability to tailor interventions to meet individual patient needs while adhering to established healthcare standards. Evaluate patient conditions regarding physical and basic mental health to tailor effective treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions based on patient's needs and treatment goals. Document patient progress and collaborate with healthcare teams to adjust treatment plans. Educate patients and families about treatment plans and home exercises. Maintain accurate patient records and comply with healthcare regulations. Participate in continuous education to keep up-to-date with the latest best practices and advancements in occupational therapy. Strong understanding of disease/disability management and treatment techniques. Excellent patient handling skills. Ability to design creative solutions to enhance patient care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficient in using healthcare databases and patient management software.
