As an integral part of our healthcare team, this position involves providing top-notch care in a fast-paced surgical environment across various UCHealth locations. This role is pivotal in ensuring excellent patient outcomes through comprehensive nursing care for surgical patients during their acute phase, continually adapting to new challenges as you rotate through our state-of-the-art facilities. Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients in an acute setting, ensuring all health needs are met. Monitor patient condition, assess surgical recovery, and adjust care plans accordingly. Assist in surgical procedures as necessary while maintaining high standards of infection control and safety compliance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate effective care and patient education. Documentation of patient care and participation in department quality improvement initiatives. Strong clinical skills in acute surgical care and critical care nursing. Ability to adapt quickly to different facilities and integrate with new teams. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado. BLS/CPR certification. ACLS certification is preferred.
