In this role, you will provide exceptional patient-centered care in our psychiatric units, utilizing evidence-based practices to support mental health. This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on improving patient outcomes and advancing your nursing skills in psychiatric care. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a psychiatric setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized treatment plans. Provide crisis intervention and medication management. Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality and safety guidelines. Strong psychiatric and psychological knowledge. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage stress and remain calm under pressure. Proficient in using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid RN license in the state of Colorado. CPR certification. Preferably certified in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing (RN-BC).
