UCHealth, a leading nonprofit healthcare system based in Colorado, is seeking a dedicated Radiography Technologist I to join our talented diagnostic imaging team. In this role, you will utilize cutting-edge imaging technology to provide high-quality diagnostic images that aid in patient diagnosis and management, following established patient safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards. Our facilities focus on patient-centered care, emphasizing empathy, efficiency, and excellence in all facets of our operations. Perform routine and complex radiographic examinations using state-of-the-art imaging equipment. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures. Prepare and position patients accurately for diagnostic imaging. Maintain accurate patient records and radiographic logs. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to optimize imaging protocols and treatment plans. Adhere to all hospital safety protocols and radiation use standards to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff. Participate in continuous education to keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in imaging technology. Proficiency in using various radiography equipment and technology. Strong understanding of radiation safety and protection principles. Excellent patient care and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment. Detailed knowledge of anatomy and positioning techniques. Valid state licensure as required.
