Job Description:
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered
Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for the
night shift in the Colorado region. This RN will play a vital role
in providing the highest level of care for the most vulnerable
infants, leveraging our systemwide resources and advanced treatment
facilities. Working in our state-of-the-art NICU, you'll
collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support life’s
brightest beginnings. This position requires exceptional clinical
skills, a passion for neonatal care, and the resilience to thrive
in a dynamic and emotionally rewarding environment. Provide direct
and specialized nursing care for neonates. Collaborate with
physicians, therapists, and nurses to assess mother and infant care
plans. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide
vital nutrients to infants. Educate and support parents and
guardians about infant care and treatment. Participate in the
development and implementation of patient management policies and
procedures. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and
safety standards. Respond to emergencies and initiate appropriate
interventions. Strong clinical skills with a focus on neonatal
care. Proficient in using medical software and electronic health
records. Excellent teamwork capabilities and communication skills.
Ability to handle high stress environments with critical patient
care. Capability to perform detailed assessments and make
appropriate nursing diagnoses. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current RN license in the
state of Colorado. Certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing
(RNC-NIC) preferred. BLS and ACLS certification required.
