Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 02/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - Med Surg /n/n Job Details: /n • Based at North Colorado Medical Center with expected floating to Loveland Campus or Banner Fort Collins if needed /n• Must be proficient in caring for surgical, orthopedic, and neurological medical/surgical patients /n• NIHSS certification required and must be able to read telemetry strips /n• Every other weekend and holidays per unit rotation /n• Varied work schedule with flexible hours /n• Must possess current, valid RN license in state of practice /n• BLS certification required /n• Minimum of one year experience in acute care hospital setting required /n• Experience must include working in acute care setting within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse /n• Must maintain clinical performance competencies appropriate to the area of practice /n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care according to organizational policies /n• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities /n• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, and cultural needs /n• Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team /n• Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in accordance with facility policies /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility is a comprehensive medical center that provides acute care services with specialized units for surgical, orthopedic, and neurological medical/surgical patients.
