Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse working in a
Neuro ICU. The nurse will work night shifts with a patient ratio of
1:2. The role requires on-call duties with a minimum of 6 weekend
shifts per 6-week scheduling period. Floating to other units may be
required. Candidates must have experience with the management of
dysrhythmias and arterial line care. Ventilator management skills
are essential, including care for ventilated patients. The nurse
will be involved in the care of high-acuity surgical ICU patients.
Primary diagnoses include craniotomies for tumor resections,
aneurysm clippings, and acute strokes. Candidates must demonstrate
proficiency in procedures such as lumbar drain management and
thermoregulation. The environment is fast-paced and requires a
team-oriented approach. Documentation will be performed using an
electronic health record system. The unit consists of 24 beds and
supports interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. It
is essential that all candidates meet the certification and
experience requirements outlined for this position. Requirements
