Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. This opportunity
is a contract, leave position for an Occupational Therapist (OT)
serving K-12 students in a school setting across multiple districts
in Eastern Colorado. The role requires providing specialized OT
support to a diverse caseload while managing paperwork, planning,
and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetingswith flexibility
to complete some duties remotely if an in-person therapist is not
found by November 1st. Location: Primarily based in Simla, CO, with
service locations including Burlington, Limon, Flagler, Woodrow,
Hugo, Anton, and Karval, Colorado. Key Responsibilities: Deliver
occupational therapy services to students across various school
districts on an itinerant basis. Manage a caseload including direct
therapy, assessments, and progress evaluations. Participate in IEP
meetings, collaborate with educators, families, and other
professionals to support student goals. Complete all required
documentation, planning, and reporting, with some option to work
remotely. Serve students from multiple districts and locations,
adapting therapy to individual needs and settings. Preferred
Qualifications and Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license
and credentials appropriate for school-based services. Experience
with K-12 school settings and knowledge of educational laws and IEP
processes. Ability to manage an itinerant caseload and travel
across multiple school sites. Strong organizational, communication,
and collaboration skills. Flexibility to work onsite primarily,
with consideration for remote work under specific circumstances.
Work Details: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Contract duration
through March 23, 2026. Leave replacement position. Commitment to
onsite presence preferred. This position offers a meaningful
