role: As a PRN Physician in Palliative Medicine, you will work with
a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality
care and excellent patient experience. In this role, you will
collaborate with a well-established Hospice and Palliative Care
team, providing as-needed support across our inpatient Hospice
Unit, inpatient Palliative Care service, and occasional telehealth
visits. This work includes assisting patients with goals-of-care
discussions, symptom management, medication optimization, and care
coordination. You will work primarily at the Lutheran Hospice
Collier Hospice Center and provide coverage for our Inpatient
Palliative Care team at Lutheran, Good Samaritan, Platte Valley and
St. Joseph's. We are seeking coverage for weekends, nights, and
holidays, with a regular cadence that can be tailored to your
availability. What you'll bring: MD or DO degree from a fully
accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine Residency
training in Family or Internal Medicine Board certification or
eligibility in Palliative Medicine 2 years of experience strongly
preferred Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability
to obtain one Full prescriptive authority and an active DEA, or the
ability to obtain one Ability to successfully com plete
Intermountain Health's credentialing process Not accepting
