Full-Time/Nights Overview: The role of a CT Technologist entails
generating diagnostic CT images, positioning and transferring
patients, selecting suitable technical parameters, and assisting
physicians during imaging procedures. This position demands strict
adherence to safety protocols, operation of radiology machinery,
and maintaining certifications such as CPR and ARRT registration.

Technologist interprets requests for exams, produces CT and
diagnostic medical images, and is responsible for patient
positioning and transfers. This role involves selecting appropriate
technical factors tailored to each patient, operating equipment as
instructed, and ensuring safety standards are met. Additionally,
the technologist assists physicians in administering contrast
agents and medications, oversees specific areas of authority in CT
and specialized imaging techniques, and must be adept at using all
relevant equipment, including the computerized radiology
information system and office tools. Teamwork is essential,
especially during weekend and evening shifts, and any personnel or
procedural incidents must be reported to the Section Manager. The
technologist may also work in specialized areas as needed and is
responsible for recommending equipment maintenance and procurement.
Maintaining current CPR certification and assisting with first aid
when necessary is also required, along with staying updated on
continuing education mandated by credentialing agencies. Shift
Details: Monday to Thursday, 4x10 hour shifts. Position Highlights:

Responsibilities: Interpreting orders for requested exams and
producing CT and diagnostic medical images. Positioning and
transferring patients safely. Selecting appropriate technical
factors for each patient. Operating equipment as directed and
ensuring compliance with safety standards. Assisting physicians
with the administration of enhancing agents and medications.
Managing specific areas of authority in CT and special imaging
techniques. Qualifications: Experience: Relevant experience deemed
adequate for the role. Required Education: Successful completion of
formal training in Radiologic Technology. Certifications: State
licensure may be necessary based on the location of practice.
A.R.R.T. registration or eligibility upon hire, with A.R.R.T.
certification to be obtained within six months of employment.
