registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. Deliver advanced nursing care on a Neurosurgical
unit dedicated to patients with stroke, seizures, multiple
sclerosis, spinal injuries, and other neurological conditions. This
opportunity offers the chance to leverage your inpatient Med Surg

precision and compassionate care. Location: Florissant, MO Position
Type: Contract (13-26 weeks) Shift: Night (7:00 PM 7:30 AM) Weekly
Hours: Guaranteed 36 hours (48 hours considered) Weekend
Commitment: Required every other weekend Call Requirements: None
Key Responsibilities: Apply the nursing process to manage complex
neurological and surgical patient care Collaborate with
multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatments and
interventions Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold patient
rights consistently Assume occasional Charge Nurse duties as
required (training provided) Use EPIC EMR system for documentation
and communication Participate in FIT testing and adhere to
infection control standards, including flu vaccination during
specified months Qualifications and Experience: Valid RN license
with minimum 1 year inpatient acute care experience in Med Surg and
Neurosurgery BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications
required Ability to maintain patient ratios of 1:5-6 and work
efficiently under fast-paced conditions Team-oriented mindset with
patient-focused delivery of care Willingness to work night shifts
and flexible scheduling demands Work Environment and Perks: Black
scrubs required as dress code Flexible guaranteed hours with
potential extension to 48 per week Up to 5 days off every 13 weeks
with leader approval for additional time off Expectation to work
major winter holidays on a rotating basis No call responsibilities
