Requirements: Required Certifications: BLS Required Skills: A-Scans, Fundus Photography, Autorefractor, Lensometer, Oct and Fundus Photography, Plus Cylinder, Humphrey visual field analyzer, Obtain and record medical history, Positioning/Draping, Record History/Medications/Allergies, Applanation Tonometry, Basic Eye Exam, Checking Vision Near and Distance, Clinical optics, Confrontational fields, Corneal Topography, Identify anomalies of disease or injury of the eye, Inform physician of preliminary findings, Insert and remove contact lenses, Keratometry, Lensometry, Measure and record visual acuity and color vision testing, Obtain visual acuity uncorrected and corrected, Perform auto-refraction, Perform diagnostic photography exams, Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, Perform eye irrigation, Perform intraocular pressure measurements, Perform lensometry and sit-lamp examinations, Place dilating drops in eyes as ordered, Refraction in Plus Cylinder, Retinal OCT, Strabismus screenings, Visual Fields, Assist Ophthalmologist during examinations and surgeries, Label Medications, Label specimens, Preparing injections, Clean and sterilize and maintain surgical instruments/ equipment, Identify equipment malfunction, Instruct patients regarding contact lenses care/maintenance, Patient teaching regarding ocular medications, Stocking/Ordering Supplies, Universal precautions Job Details: Pay: $1493/week - $1723/week Assignment Length: 13-week assignment Shift: 5, 8-Hour 08:00 - 16:30 At least one year of experience required Aya delivers: The most jobs in the industry.
