Behavioral Health Therapist Salary Range: Master's Level:
$58,011 - $69,618 annually based on relevant years of experience
Master's Licensed: $66,040 - $79,217 annually based on relevant
years of experience Location: Fort Collins, Colorado at our
Bristlecone location Status: Full Time, 40 hours per week Times:
Monday through Friday with at least one night until 8:00PM Role
Overview: As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will provide
on-going assessments, intervention techniques, conduct
de-escalation, safety planning, and maintain clinical records and
other reporting data for clients with mild to severe mental health
and/or substance use disorders. Duties include coordinating with
internal as well as external supportive services to deliver needed
services to our clients and collaborating with peers and
psychiatrists regarding treatment. Responsible for on-site direct
client care, which includes both individual and (possible group
therapy), behavioral health screening & assessments, brief
therapeutic intervention, crisis intervention, care coordination,
caseload management, attending to needs of staff and providers
within the building, problem solving between treatment team
members, and/or helping clients who are in need of assistance.
Essential Duties: Direct client care includes care coordination,
behavioral health related screenings and assessments, individual
and group therapy, brief therapy, case management, and related
clinical services. Responsible for facilitating Intensive
Outpatient Program (IOP) groups and be a part of the IOP team.
Serves as a clinical resource person to building site(s), clinical
staff, case managers, medical providers and collaterals. Knowledge
of professional policies and procedures. Collaborates with other
staff in providing, planning, developing, implementing, and
evaluating clinical services, including collaborating with Clinical
Managers and Program Supervisors. Performs behavioral health
screenings and assessments within the medical clinic setting, to
include review of treatment options and referral information.
Provides on going care coordination within SummitStone, community
agencies and resources. Provides crisis intervention to include
crisis assessment and de-escalation. Provides on-site collaboration
with medical providers to provide behavioral health assessments for
those clients identified with behavioral health needs. Clinical
documentation. Supports and fosters team values with peers and
clinic staff, to provide support and remove barriers. Maintains
superior customer service for internal and external customers by
providing information and answering questions/requests in a timely
matter. May participate on committees (both internal and external),
in meetings, and works on projects as assigned. Perform other
duties as assigned. Required: Master's degree in social work,
counseling, psychology, or related field and/or license in Human
Services field from accredited College or University. LCSW, LPC,
LMFT, CAS, LAC track. At least one year of experience in the
behavioral health field. At least one year of experience with mild
to severe mental illness and substance use disorders. Preferred:
Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred. NOTE : Be aware that licensure
must be pursed in this role and have a willingness to engage on the
