future with Voyager. Job Summary: Voyager Energetics is seeking a
highly experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist
responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously
improving programs across all EHS disciplines, including
occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental compliance,
process safety, and emergency response. The role requires a
proactive professional capable of working in both office and
manufacturing environments while supporting operational excellence,
regulatory compliance, and risk reduction. Responsibilities: EHS
Program Management: Lead the development, implementation, and
maintenance of comprehensive EHS programs, policies, and procedures
Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety
performance and environmental stewardship Conduct program audits,
gap analyses, and corrective action tracking Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local
regulations, including but not limited to: OSHA regulations
(including Process Safety Management where applicable) ATF
explosives regulations Department of Transportation (DOT / PHMSA)
hazardous materials requirements DoD Contractor Safety Manual (DODM
4145.26) DODM 5100.76 Physical Security of Sensitive Conventional
Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives (AA&E) Environmental
regulations (EPA, state, and local agencies) ISO 9001, 14001 and
45001 implementation and compliance Risk & Hazard Analysis: Perform
hazard identification, risk assessments, and job hazard analyses
(JHAs) Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and
corrective/preventive actions Evaluate new processes, equipment,
and materials for EHS impact Environmental & Industrial Hygiene:
Support environmental compliance programs (waste management, air,
water, spill prevention) Participate in exposure assessments,
monitoring, and control strategies Assist with chemical hazard
evaluations and SDS management Training & Culture Development:
Develop and deliver EHS training programs Promote a strong safety
culture through engagement, coaching, and leadership support
Provide technical guidance to employees and supervisors Emergency
Response / HazMat: Serve as an active member of the Emergency
Response Team (ERT) Respond to incidents involving fire, medical
emergencies, chemical releases, and hazardous materials Support
HazMat response, containment, mitigation, and decontamination
activities Maintain emergency response readiness, including drills,
equipment inspections, and training Coordinate with external
emergency agencies when required Required Qualifications: Minimum 5
years of progressive experience in Environmental, Health & Safety
roles Demonstrated experience across multiple EHS disciplines
(safety, environmental, IH, compliance) Strong knowledge of OSHA,
DOT HazMat, ATF, and environmental regulations Experience
conducting risk assessments and incident investigations Excellent
written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational,
analytical, and problem-solving abilities Ability to influence
safety performance through formal and informal leadership
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Preferred
Qualifications: Experience in explosives, energetics, chemical,
aerospace, or defense manufacturing HazMat / Emergency Response
training or certification Experience supporting Process Safety
Management (PSM) programs Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety,
Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related
field Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, ASP, CHMM, CIH – not

Candidates must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain and
maintain State and Federal explosives licenses. Requirements
include: Must be at least 21 years of age Ability to pass State and
Federal background checks Ability to obtain and maintain applicable
