As a drywall professional, you’ll be responsible for the installation and finishing of drywall on commercial, industrial and civil projects, as well as any repairs that may occur on the job site. ? Sa lary Range: $17 - $27 per hour ? Benefits : Paid Time Off Medical Retirement ? Here’s what Skillit needs from you: Have strong drywall installation, hanging and finishing skills and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to work with tools, such as, power and non-powered hand tools. Willing and able to follow instructions and ask clarifying questions. Ability to handle materials that can weigh up to 200Ibs. Strong attention to detail. Here’s what you’ll be doing: Install and repair drywall in commercial, industrial or civil work sites. Ability to measure, cut, install, repair and finish drywall. Transport materials to the job site. Apply finishes and textures to drywall per instructions. Repair drywall seamlessly. Work closely with framers and other workers to ensure smooth and efficient work on the job site. Read and interpret blueprints for installation planning. Possess the ability to understand construction and repairs from drawings or sketches, estimate materials, supplies and labor costs.
