Job Description Job Description Job Title: HVAC Technician Job Description As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal for commercial HVAC systems in new commercial constructions. The role involves working with prefabricated sheet metal ducts used for heating, air conditioning, or other purposes. You will be tasked with using various materials, including sheet metal, nonmetallic material, fiberglass duct board, or flexible duct board. Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble sheet metal for HVAC systems. Install prefabricated sheet metal ducts for heating and air conditioning systems. Work with various materials such as sheet metal, nonmetallic material, fiberglass duct board, and flexible duct board. Essential Skills Proficiency in working with ductwork, tinner, and sheet metal. Experience in HVAC, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation. Understanding of layout, chillers, boilers, and sheet metal fabrication. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2 years of experience as a commercial sheet metal worker. Work Environment The work environment includes commercial projects in the Denver and Longmont Area, including hospitals, data centers, multifamily, and office buildings. The role may require travel between project locations in Longmont, Denver, and Colorado Springs. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
