Job Description:
Electrical Panel Builder I Colorado Springs, CO 2 Months Pay
rate: $21/hr Candidates must have strong experience with electrical
panel wiring. Experience with circuit boards and soldering is not a
primary focus for this role and should not be emphasized. The
ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, particularly
ladder logic diagrams, is preferred. POSITION SUMMARY: Performs
repetitive electro mechanical assembly and complex electro
mechanical assembly, involving sensitive or precise dexterous
movements to maintain pace and quality of assembly work. CORE
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Follows all policies and guidelines
regarding workplace safety and product quality. Receives components
or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence. Assembles
or tests electrical components by means of sensitive hand and
equipment coordination. Will assemble all variations of in-house
standard products. Follows clear assembly/test instructions, e.g.
color code, NEC and UL codes/standards. Uses simple hand or power
tools along with complex jigs and fixtures. Enter work hours in ERP
system (Currently SAP). Drives continuous improvement process and
conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous
improvement activities. Maintains equipment and area in an orderly
and safe condition. Contributes to division results and
performance. Takes care of internal and external customer needs and
expectations. POSITION REQUIREMENTS-FORMAL EDUCATION Required: High
School Diploma or equivalent. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE Required:
Ability to read and interpret complex schematics, ladder diagrams,
and point to point drawings. Proficient in the use of hand tools.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on
a constant basis. Must be able to walk, write, and type on a
frequent basis. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
Must be able to climb and descend stairs. Must be able to bend,
carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis. Must be able
to communicate verbally and in writing. May work indoors and
outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to
0 degrees. May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing
protection is required. May be exposed to varying amounts of dust
and dirt. Work surfaces may include concrete. Employee must be able
to operate a computer and communicate via telephone. 1-3 years
experience
