This dynamic position will serve as a strong foundation for continued development as a systems engineer. --- Support of field centers and facilities and supporting the operational readiness and safety systems. --- Learn the craft of problem investigations: root cause analysis and corrective action implementation support, surveillance and monitoring of deployed systems, watching for changes or degradation to the system, streamline operations. --- Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. --- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. --- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Here are some of the benefits you can enjoy: --- Medical --- Dental --- 401k --- Paid time off --- Work/life balance --- Career development --- Mentorship opportunities --- Rewards & recognition Basic Qualifications: --- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college/university. --- Experience in one of the following areas: mission analysis, RF analysis, communications systems analysis, orbit analysis, or payload analysis --- Active DoD TS or TS/SCI with the ability to maintain clearance Desired Skills: --- Performed architecture analyses at a high degree of complexity requiring broad knowledge of the following domains: RF analysis, communications systems analysis, orbit analysis, payload analysis, mission analysis --- Previously led a team supporting system architecture development, systems development, product delivery, or O&M by providing data on system performance --- Familiar with LM Space products (LM400, ESAs, etc) and how they can be employed in future architectures --- Previously worked within an Agile framework to manage team expectations and deliverables --- Familiar with task and configuration management tools (Jira, Git, etc.) Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
