Job Description Job Description RESPONSIBILITIES Assist supervisor in the field or office to support project success Material takeoffs from drawings, specifications and other contract documents Assist in the preparation of RFIs, Submittals, close out and/or other documentation as required Assist in schedule maintenance and performing updates as directed by others Assist in the maintenance of basic project recordkeeping and correspondence functions including daily reports, photographs, and other communications. Assist in generating change orders. Assist in as-built drawing documentation. Provide field support and assist with supervision of subcontractor operations Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision Participation in intern program specific trainings and events Other duties as assigned EDUCATION Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field EXPERIENCE 3 months related industry preferred but not required SKILLS Proficiency in Microsoft suite General familiarity with construction software (PROCORE and Bluebeam preferred) General familiarity with plan and specification reading Ability to assist with and perform necessary functions for more than one project Excellent written and verbal communication skills Time management Organization EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Verifiable work references demonstrating exceptional accomplishments, leadership, and communication skills Successful completion of post-offer background & drug screens All positions at GH Phipps are considered safety sensitive. Position may be required to visit a construction site at any time. In person, regular attendance required
