A K12 paraprofessional position is available in Arvada, CO, supporting students across elementary to high school levels. This role is a contract position with a duration through May 22, 2026, starting as soon as possible. Candidates must have at least one year of experience working in school classrooms, with significant or severe caseload experience strongly preferred. Responsibilities include providing classroom support tailored to student needs, potentially assisting with toileting and diapering, and adapting to assignments across different school sites and age groups as needed. Flexibility is important, as candidates may be reassigned to various locations and grade levels throughout the contract. Key qualifications and requirements: Minimum one year of classroom experience in K12 settings Experience with significant/severe caseloads is highly desired Reliable transportation is mandatory; public transit options are not considered reliable Ability to arrive promptly by 7:40 a.m. for elementary or 8:00 a.m. for middle/high school assignments Willingness to undergo fingerprinting immediately after offer acceptance; any criminal charges may result in disqualification Candidates must submit two completed professional references through RefAssured at applicationplease do not apply without these in hand Compensation closed at $25 or below per hour Following a successful interview, assignments will be made based on the candidates experience and preferences.
