Accountable for compliance to all FDA, GMP, and HAACP regulations, guidelines, and principles. Essential Functions: Accountable for Daily Drug Usage reconciliation Responsible for daily production variance investigations Ensure that all Good Manufacturing Practices are adhered to, understood, and implemented. Responsible for FDA Feed Manufacturing License, its renewal, posting, and all areas related to its issuance. Taking weekly flake samples and maintaining the necessary records for patented flake product. Ensuring that all products including textured feeds, complete feeds, pellets, cubes, meals, minerals, and any other meet or exceed customer expectations. Routine visual inspection of retained sample feeds. Responsible for quality of incoming products and ingredients and authority to reject if deemed necessary. Accountable for monitoring and elimination of pests, including but not limited to birds, rodents, and insects. Maintaining FDA Feed Manufacturing License, Compliance to all Good Manufacturing Practices, Maintaining Safe Feed/Safe Food Program Ensuring that customer expectations of product are met or exceeded in any and/or all facets of operations. Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned Perform Feed Mill Superintendent duties as needed. Support Feed Mill Operations, perform batching duties as needed. Education: High school Diploma or equivalent Applicable work experience or A.S or B.S. in related field. Experience: 3-5 years feed production/plant operation experience Maintaining FDA Feed Manufacturing License Compliance to all Good Manufacturing Practices Maintaining Safe Feed/Safe Food Program Ensuring that customer expectations of product are met or exceeded in any and/or all facets of operations. Comprehension of all FDA, GMP, and HAACP guidelines and regulations Skills/Reasoning ability: Strong organizational skills, including sorting, filing, distributing. Ability to manage priorities and workflow. Continuous education and training Ability to manage multiple tasks. Ability to communicate with managers and customers. Detail oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy.
