Details The Regional Controller will oversee financial reporting
activities across several divisions, including managing job cost
tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and developing
performance metrics that support executive decisions. This role
requires someone skilled at cultivating strong relationships within
the organization to positively influence operations. Working
closely with the operations team, this person will help drive
financial success, champion continuous improvement initiatives, and
ensure compliance with established accounting practices,
procedures, and regulatory requirements. Role Responsibilities:
Ensure financial reports are accurate and internal controls are
functioning effectively for the assigned divisions Lead budget and
forecast modeling efforts, managing the overall planning process to
support growth and profitability Analyze financial performance,
providing clear insights and actionable recommendations Partner
with operations to establish and uphold financial strategies,
policies, and processes for efficient management Conduct detailed
reviews of project profitability, cost management, and progress
against forecasts Perform trend analyses on contract and divisional
operating results Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
cycles Present financial information to executive leadership Ensure
adherence to company financial standards and accounting practices
Supervise and mentor the finance team, promoting accuracy,
accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement Support
operations with special projects and reporting on key business
drivers Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a
related discipline MBA, CPA, or CMA strongly preferred Minimum 10
years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at
least 5 years in a leadership role within construction, powerline
utility construction preferred Strong background in job cost
accounting, project costing, and percent-of-completion revenue
reporting Proficiency with accounting systems and financial
analysis software Effective communicator with strong leadership
capabilities Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and
decision-making skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to perform well under pressure and collaborate in a
fast-paced construction environment Pre-Employment Requirements:
