Details: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and
experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. The
successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our finance
department, providing key insights and analysis to support business
decisions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a
fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a keen eye
for detail. Responsibilities: As a Senior Financial Accountant,
your primary responsibilities will include: 1. Managing month-end
and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate
financial reporting. 2. Overseeing treasury accounting functions,
including cash management and forecasting. 3. Preparing monthly
financial reports for senior management, highlighting key trends
and variances. 4. Analyzing and preparing income statements,
balance sheets, and other financial documents. 5. Reconciling
various GL accounts and making necessary journal entries. 6.
Assisting with the development and implementation of accounting
policies and procedures. 7. Working closely with internal and
external auditors during financial and operational audits. 8.
Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance
financial visibility and operational efficiency. 9. Providing
leadership and guidance to junior accounting staff. Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Financial Accountant position
should possess the following qualifications: 1. A Bachelor's Degree
in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years
of experience in a financial accounting role, with a strong
understanding of treasury accounting, month-end close, and
financial reporting. 3. Proficiency in creating and posting journal
entries and reconciliations. 4. Strong analytical skills, with the
ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial
reports, statements, and projections. 5. Working knowledge of
financial software and database systems. 6. Excellent communication
skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly
communicate financial information to non-financial colleagues. 7.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple
tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines. 8. A proactive approach to
problem-solving, with strong decision-making skills. 9. A
commitment to continuous professional development and staying
updated with the latest financial regulations and standards.
