What You'll Do as a Senior Accountant: Journal Entries & Reconciliations: As a Senior Accountant , you'll manage accurate journal entries and detailed reconciliations to ensure clean financials. Billing & AR Oversight: Maintain ownership of billing accounts while managing accounts receivable and collections-all through a user-friendly, email-driven system. Customer Correspondence: Handle customer and state board communications efficiently and professionally via email. Weekly Remittances: Oversee and execute timely weekly remittances to support smooth financial operations. Audit Preparation: Support the audit process by preparing accurate documentation and ensuring compliance. Reporting: Assist with monthly financial reporting and provide insight into variances as a trusted Senior Accountant . What We're Looking For in a Senior Accountant: Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required. Experience in full-cycle accounting with strong billing and AR knowledge. Tech-savvy with a strong grasp of accounting systems and processes. Skilled in Excel-must be comfortable using V-Lookups and Pivot Tables. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and communication skills. Willingness to assist with other accounting functions (AP/AR) as needed-versatility is key for a Senior Accountant in this role.
