Job Description:
As a Senior Financial Analyst , you will be a strategic partner
in driving financial clarity, operational efficiency, and informed
decision-making across the organization. This role combines
high-impact financial modeling, data interpretation, compliance
oversight, and stakeholder communication to support both short- and
long-term organizational goals. You'll play a key role in managing
local funding processes, forecasting funding impacts, and building
scalable systems for financial reporting and internal controls.
You're a critical thinker with a deep understanding of how finance
supports mission-driven work. You're comfortable navigating
complexity and translating numbers into actionable insight-all
while staying grounded in the broader impact on our community,
internal teams, and external partners. Key Responsibilities Design,
implement, and oversee financial controls and compliance
frameworks, with a focus on federal grant regulations (2 CFR 200)
and other government funding requirements. Lead the development and
execution of internal audit procedures to ensure consistent
financial integrity and regulatory alignment. Build sophisticated
financial models and business case analyses to guide strategic
initiatives and inform executive leadership decisions. Drive
continuous improvement of budgeting processes; support the annual
budget cycle and proactively recommend enhancements based on data
insights. Collect, validate, and analyze both quantitative and
qualitative data to support monthly, quarterly, and annual
reporting to leadership, the Board, and public partners.
Communicate financial insights and reporting requirements across
teams to ensure transparency and alignment with strategic goals and
funding obligations. Collaborate across departments to identify
process inefficiencies, solve fiscal challenges, and implement
improvements that enhance organizational impact. Manage
cross-functional financial projects with an emphasis on timelines,
stakeholder engagement, documentation, and outcome delivery. Create
and deliver training materials and sessions to ensure consistent
understanding of financial controls and reporting protocols
throughout the organization. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's
degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. Minimum
of 5 years' experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or
planning roles with demonstrated ownership of complex financial
reporting and forecasting. Advanced Excel skills, including pivot
tables, advanced formulas, modeling, and data visualization tools
and experience with Power BI. Strong understanding of compliance
requirements related to federal and local funding sources,
particularly 2 CFR 200. Excellent analytical and communication
skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear,
