This Controller will lead corporate accounting and be a key player in financial operations and reporting, driving improvements across systems and processes. What You’ll Own Oversee corporate accounting and lead the full-cycle close process (currently 10 days – goal is to shorten) Manage financial reporting, compliance, and audit coordination across multiple jurisdictions Provide mentorship to the Assistant Controller and support team (AR/AP, Sr. Staff, overseas-based accountants) Partner cross-functionally to improve manual AR/AP workflows and help prepare for future systems implementation Play a key role in tax coordination and audit readiness, including sales/use and personal property tax Support annual M&A integration activities (1–2 acquisitions per year on average) What Makes This Opportunity Unique Complex, international structure with opportunity to build foundational processes Exposure to cross-border tax and audit Collaborative environment with a supportive executive team and room to grow Autonomy to improve outdated systems and processes—change is welcomed Partnership with a newly hired VP to split responsibilities and lead transformation efforts Who We’re Looking For CPA required Public accounting background preferred; private company experience also valuable Prior Controller or Assistant Controller in a multi-entity or international environment Comfortable mentoring junior talent and supporting in high-pressure moments Exposure to international accounting, tax, or audits a strong plus Strong understanding of close, compliance, and systems improvement Interested in hearing more?
