Job Summary: The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role involves managing a team of accountants, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll. Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards. Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Collaborate with other departments to support overall company goals and objectives. Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to accounting staff. Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Liaise with external auditors and manage the audit process.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position. Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting standards. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of an international team. Bilingual English / Spanish is a plus.
