We're a family-owned and operated company specializing in high-quality residential HVAC, Plumbing, and Electric Services, and our team members take great pride in our workAbout the Role:Patriot Pros is looking for a dynamic Senior Accountant who can not only produce solid financial statements and handle AP and AR, but also build out additional tracking within Quickbooks and appropriately guide data from our other software into Quickbooks appropriately. The Senior Accountant will make recommendations regarding efficiency and provide insights based on financial data. The Senior Accountant will build out accounting processes and procedures as well as work closely with our CPA firm in the production of tax filings and timely financial statements. We are looking for not only a number cruncher but also an analyst to join our team.Responsibilities:Performing all activities related to accounts payable including reviewing, entering invoices, and processing paymentsPerforming activities related to accounts receivable including processing of checks, credit card payments and EFT paymentsWork with Service Titan to upload appropriate data to accounting softwareOversee the build out of Chart of Accounts and sorting transactions based upon departmentPreparing financial statements by department for better financial visibility for decision makersCompile data for various accounting research projects.Build efficient and effective Accounting processes and procedures to promote transparencyApply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work to ensure compliance with applicable standardsObtain W-9 from all new vendors and maintain W-9s for all vendors.Oversee payroll processRequirements:Bachelors degree in accounting5+ years relevant experience working in accounting and financial analysisProficient skills in QuickBooks desktop and Quickbooks OnlineExperience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and payrollHigh degree of accuracy and attention to detailExcellent organizational skillsPublic Accounting experience preferredStrong Excel skills preferredWhy Choose Patriot Pros?Competitive Pay with quarterly bonus potential401(k) retirement plans with company matching100% company PAID Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceTRAINING, we take pride in the continued growth of our whole team80+ hours of PTO Accrued per Year (Starting on Day One)6 Paid Holidays OffCompany-Provided Uniforms (Shirts, t-shirts, Pants, and Hats)Dry Cleaning provided for UniformsTake-home Vehicle + gas card (For qualified personnel)Company IPAD and iPhone (We use top-of-the-line software for dispatching)Fun!
