an empowering workforce -Job Purpose and OverviewAs the
Environmental Control Supervisor, you will supervise a team in a
manufacturing and assembly environment; plan and assign work,
implement policies and procedures, and recommend improvements in
production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working
conditions. -Schedule:Thursday - Monday. Start time is
approximately 8 AM. -What will you do as an Environmental Control
Supervisor at Dawn Foods?Ensures team members follow GMP, food
safety and safety requirements and follows same. Monitor compliance
to said policies and procedures, disseminates information at team
meetings and periodic spot check for compliance.Participant in
assisting with Quality Control programs to assure product quality
and adherence to food safety.Ensures adherence to procedures,
including GMP requirements and Dawn Handbook.Studies production
schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of
job assignment.Ensures efficiencies are met or exceeded according
to standards in relation to aspects affecting production
schedules.Assists in internal audits to ensure compliance with FDA,
OSHA, and BRC methods, policies, and procedures.Ensures effective
team members relations. Provides team members coaching and
development. Resolves team members issues through problem
resolution.Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale
to achieve positive results in all areas. Works to continuously
improve in all areas.Manages departmental performance measures,
including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to
manager.Completes daily reports in a timely and accurate
manner.Confers with production manager and other supervisors to
coordinate activities of individual departments.Follow, review,
update, and adhere to Master Sanitation schedule and needs.Direct
contact with the third-party pest control company and address any
concerns identified in a timely manner. Develop and update
Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures as needed. Training and
development of sanitation team as well as the production team
members on proper cleaning techniques. Understand and promote the
philosophies and policies of Dawn Food Products, Inc. Supports the
Circle of ExcellenceOther job duties as assigned. -What Does It
Take to be an Environmental Control Supervisor at Dawn Foods? Below
are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.High school
diploma or GEDAssociate degree (AA) from a two-year college or
technical school preferredMinimum of two years in a leadership role
in a production environmentTwo to Three years of food manufacturing
industry experience; or equivalent combination of education and
experience.Experience with Master Sanitation scheduling and
requirementsExcellent communication skills; written and verbal.
