Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a dedicated Qualified Medication Administration Professional (QMAP) to join our team in providing essential medication administration services to underserved communities. This role is vital in ensuring the safe and accurate delivery of medications as part of holistic health treatment plans. As a QMAP, you will work directly with healthcare professionals to optimize patient health and wellness outcomes, adhering to rigorous protocols and standards set for medication administration in a fast-paced environment. Administer oral and topical medications as prescribed by physicians Document medication administration, observe and report any adverse reactions Update patient records and communicate changes to healthcare team Assist in routine patient care as needed Maintain cleanliness and order of medication storage areas Participate in educational programs to stay informed of new medications and protocols Accurate and detail-oriented Strong documentation skills Excellent communication abilities Knowledge of medication types and their effects Ability to adhere to strict protocols and schedules Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified as a Qualified Medication Administration Professional (QMAP) in the state of practice
